Industracom has 3 large online marketplaces where buyers & suppliers of B2B equipment connect, with all seeing record levels of growth:

IndustrySearch - industrial equipment

MedicalSearch - medical equipment

HospitalityHub - hospitality equipment


The focus of the Digital Marketing Lead - B2B Customer Growth role is to get local Australia/New Zealand equipment suppliers (i.e. companies that have higher value B2B equipment to sell, relevant to each site) to find our new online sign up pages (see below) and to subscribe / pay online themselves or submit enquiries to ‘Get More Information’ which will be inbounds for our sales team as 'warm' pre-qualified leads.

* HospitalityHub online sign up page

We are open to ways in which we achieve this providing it’s extremely focused on the online sign up/payment page and measuring the ROAS.

It’s also worth noting:

* We have 8,000+ companies on our marketplaces known as Basic Profiles (they are companies on there for free for various reasons which is essentially part of our core target pipeline to sign up/pay to upgrade). They are not currently being advertised or optimised, and these would be the priority companies to nurture, re-target & drive towards an 'UPGRADE' action. Upgrading means paying a subscription to access significant boosts in traffic, optimisation and opportunities for the suppliers to drive sales from buyers on the platform.

* Each of those Basic Profiles have varying email addresses of contacts that we have on file that we could look at targeting/re-targeting on the social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc) as experiments - noting that it's B2B customers we are after so they likely may not use their work email addresses on their social media profiles -  we would need to get creative.

* We could perhaps also experiment with look-a-like audiences for those types of companies.

* We have a lot of our own assets to utilise to drive more traffic to these pages such as enquiry emails these Basic Profiles receive from buyers, the dashboard they login to and various other pages they access on our platforms, hence it's not just about social media but campaigns on our platforms/product/page enhancements to drive action.

* We don’t have a specific email nurture campaign but something we are aware we need to have in place.

* Ideally this role would also involve elements of CRO - optimising the online sign up page in a scientific/data driven way to convert more of the incoming/targeted traffic to sign up.


Most importantly, we are all ears to new ideas & strategies, and the role can most certainly progress into a full time capacity based on success.

Skills and experience you bring to the position

  • 8+ years of digital marketing / customer growth through marketing experience 

  • Proven track record of success

  • Results and priority-led

  • Closely driven by data to form strategies and achieve positive ROAS

  • Strong communicator (fluent written & spoken English)

  • Bonus points if you've had experience & success with marketplace/subscription businesses!

  • Thorough analytical and reporting skills

  • Proficiency in a range of digital and growth tools (Eg Meta / social media marketing tools, Google Ads, email campaign tools, Google Tag Manager, Analytics, A/B testing tools)

  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a passion to get stuff done

  • Self starter with proven ability to collaborate, influence, shape and follow through ideas

  • Passionate about doing work with a high level of Excellence

  • A contributor to the culture and positive energy of the team

  • Wants to make a meaningful contribution and help build a great people-focused company

  • Innovative in finding better ways to do things every day - never stopping at hurdles or roadblocks!
